Jai ho by A. R. RAHMAN a great piece of music from the movie Slumdog Millionaire. In 2009, it won the Academy Award for Best Original Song, beating out WALL-E's "Down to Earth" by Peter Gabriel, and "O... Saya", also of Slumdog Millionaire and by A. R. Rahman. I first heard the song jai ho it's during the Oscars, and i already loving it, but only until today i have listen through the whole song, and it shakes up my soul, i can feel the amazing power coming out from me, my goodness... the moment when A. R. RAHMAN sing Jai HoooooooOOOoo jai hooooooo jai hooooooo..... oh man that part just takes my soul away, i don't know how to explain it, it's gave me a really interesting feeling and very powerful at the same time. Felt like a soul it's crying out for something desperately, it's sad but also full of hopes, very hard to explain. unfortunately i haven't watched the movie yet. Tt won 8 Academy Awards i don't think anyone will go wrong with that, so hopefully i can catch it someday. So after that jai ho powerful moment i started to search for the song on iTunes Store, and i found the Soundtrack album of the moive, sadly I can't just by that one song, I got to buy the whole OST album, so i turn to the alternative versions, like this one Pussycat Dolls' version of Jai Ho, not as great but still i bought it, and other Remix version, and they are all DRM free which it's awesome, until now the total play count of both songs is 50 times in just few hours time, i have been too crazy about it. Because I'm listening to it very intensely, that amazing feeling has long gone. I have this really bad habit of repeating the newly purchased song over and over again until i gets bored then i will put it ways for the long time before i want listen to it again, sigh what can i do? : ( .... by the way anyone know what does Jai ho means?16.3.09
